It is said that there is an underground network of people in our society that have unfortunately experienced the death of a child in their immediate families. This type of loss is one of the areas that speak to me the most in my position with XXX.. Therefore, our team had devoted the month of December to help meets the spiritual needs of those who have lost a child. Below are the event details: XXX is hosting Lubbock's first Compassionate Friends remembrance on Sunday, December 14th. If you or a loved one has experienced the loss of a child, please participate in this healing evening of honoring each child that is loved so very much. The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting®, held annually the second Sunday in December unites family and friends around the globe as we light candles for one hour to honor and remember children who have died at any age from any cause. As candles are lit at 7 p.m. local time, creating a virtual wave of light, hundreds of thousands of persons commemorate and honor the memories of children in a way that transcends all ethnic, cultural, religious, and political boundaries. Now believed to be the largest mass candle lighting on the globe, the Worldwide Candle Lighting, creates a virtual 24-hour wave of light as it moves from time zone to time zone.
